To comment on the options Victoria suggested...
- Missions: They get increasingly harder but the rewards do not get significantly higher.
- Tournaments and Duels: These are options, but this assumes that other people somehow have extra tokens. Getting money from people just as poor as myself isn't really an option.
- Refunding items: Since we only receive half the value back, it would make more sense to barter with someone else.

Mitch -- Can't wait to see the new options for earning tokens! I think that balancing the economy - while very difficult - will help make the game great.

Hi Mitch...

That's interesting about getting tokens for inviting friends in. I've invited a couple prior to public beta. Did getting rewards for inviting just start after public beta?

NPC's, which i'm actually not positive what that stands for but it has been seen in multiple games (non-playing characters?) are a great way to give everyone a chance to earn on a daily basis. Having a few places where we have to go or click on a character (the NPC) to get 10-30 tokens helps a lot, especially for those who aren't as good at gaming (tournaments or the like). Maybe a greeter at the spa, bartender in one of the clubs (of course with a dandy joke of the week)...you get the idea. IN VMK credits (tokens) were only awarded every 12 hours. Basically once/day but if you signed in early then you could get them again late at night. Definitely a slow way to earn, but extra pocket change can never hurt.

Tokens for each time your pet learns a new trick would be good, since that takes work. Unfortunately all my gaming friends are already playing based on one person's invite!

Also -- to complete a mission one must go to Game Planet which, at the moment is blocked to "members only". Is this just a temporary state, or is it permanent?

Cedar: This is just a Temporary State. Right now they are trying to fix up Game Planet due to people not being able to enter. It shall be re-opened sometime this week.

I would like to see credit given each time you play a game.

Maybe bonus points if you win or in the case of arcade game, bonus points for different point levels.

I also like the idea of NPC characters to gain credit each day.

The emails I sent to invite friends never showed up in their inboxes, anybody else have this problem?

When I sent the emails, it took about five minutes for them to arrive. Try asking them to check again.
